btw... do you knwo whether a wireless router, can it be connected direct to phone line, and without going through a PC, transmitt wirelessly the internet?? the phone line is in thehall, my pc gonna b in a room, i dowan to pull a phone line through the house... and I dowan to put the pc in the hall... can that be done ar? (I wanna use wireless, cause i also got lap top, so wanna use lap top in hall, and also receive at desktop in room)..
As I recall, my brother is using something like that, but i'm not sure is it under linksys? or some other brand... should be able to right??

cap i thought rumors is that it's on April? Anyhow not much different. Its been more than 1 month I am on Win7 beta and its now more stable after several updates. As a beta I would say it is successful. But guess not much challenge seeing it's just built up from already stable Vista.. Still if you hate Vista's interface then stay away.. phenom lives in 2009 so phenom loves Win7 goddamn i'm eyeing this Xonar D2X from Asus, the sight of the card gives me the big orgasm! ... and after having wetdreams of the D2X i finally made the kill just now. as i gently hold the card and softly caress its fine metal casing i am beginning to feel the urge to plug it into the motherboard and enjoy its oohs and aahs..
now i'm going to put the same post up in lowyat.net where people can actually understand what I'm talking about..

Spend the whole morning reinstalling Vista..

If i'm not mistaken, Putrajaya and some part of Kedah are using Fiber optics internet connections. Here we still using old phone lines ( Streamyx) and radiowaves ( if other wireless networks). |

sorry i lied. cant resist the temptation to try out win7 RC. its beautiful... I had it on my work notebook, almost all devices working properly directly after setup. its an old compaq designed for XP and its working quite ok (although sluggish but given its on an old spec system i can live with it)
darn microsoft now i have to wait till next year for the retail product so i can install it on my HTPC.
