phenom,

i would not use the word "dishonesty" here, as in no way, that [techguy] has
acted irresponsibly. whether you can use the service higher than 8 floor anot
may varies.

I am also a p1 reseller in mont kiara, and have users subscribed / access to the
p1 service from level as high as 35th floor (my clients can give testimony to this)

Further, you can be held liable for the defamatory statement made.

We should discuss matters reasonably and not make any offensive remarks.

Sincerely,

John

Oh, and this is one of my favourite parts as well...

Since you say you've got clients up and as high as the 35th floor, lets hear from them...

testimonies?? any? or just tickle your testis after you've taken their monies??

C'mon... where.. where... where...>!!!!

Y'know, a man once told me, he caught the worlds biggest fish, and he had 15 people who witnessed it... but when he told me, non of the 15 people were there with us... should I believe him or not??

(grin)...
If you can agree with bible, you can believe his words as well. Smiley  Wink

oooOOOooOOoo.... Mod... why you bring in religion???

Either way, Am not Christian.... but i know thats not your point.. how do you believe in any religion which was preached about God knows how long ago, whereby the so-called people who were the angels/saviours/sons of Gods/etc, are now long gone, and there is no scientific, historical proof that these people ever existed...

Honestly, I am on the borderline of Atheism... why? Cause I personally believe, that all those people, Jesus, Lord Buddha, the Khalifah's, and many many other respected preachers for God, were all just very wise people, who wanted to make the world a better place, and came up with living practices...

Living practices, of which guidance was given, told, and enforced upon to those who chose to follow, so that they may have a path to "heaven" (or the afterlife, depending on your beliefs), and since no one could properly prove such an ending, it was never quite proven wrong (nor was it proven right)...

but people chose to believe (fortunately), whether by some of the miracles (unproven) that those people brought with them... and as such, chose to adopt those living practices...

In general, most, if not all, those living practices are more or less the same. Do not kill, do not lie, do not rape, do not steal.

Share, help, teach, provide...

embrace, love, inspire, aspire...

Discourage hate, envy, anger, fear...

Encourage Courage, honesty, dignity & civalry...

All these living practices, if you were to look at the practices and teachings of most of the religions, they are along the same line... kinda like pharmacies, cinemas, shopping centers, martial arts, etc...

All have the same objectives, just different approaches...
All basically are pure and clean in their original objectives, but some have diverged a bit to the "dark"side...

I think i've made my point?... hehehe....
However, the only thing that is holding meback from becoming a full time atheist is that I DO believe there is a higher being.. just that I don't say who's right or who's wrong... I acknowledge in HIS/HER Existence, and I respect HIM/HER.

So my point is, considering I don't quite believe in historical religious data, then, is my argument still valid for this topic?? Smiley

Lastly, can I add, I prefer to see at least some proof, because, unfortunately, the stereotyping of sales people nowadays has given other genuine sales people a bad rap, and its really difficult to tell an honest sales man from a conman...

Its really so easy to just claim some time... here's an example...

I'm 32 yrs, with an MBA, working for an O& G MNC, earning close to 10K...
I've got 1 child, and I drive a 2nd hand BMW 5 series ...

Obviously, none of the above is true... but would you believe me if you believe the Bible? Perhaps at first glance, yes, because you give me the benefit of doubt, or perhaps you choose to believe that every one is honest and truthful...ok ok.. how about this

Ímagine I'm a sales guy...

I'm selling this new car from... say.... KIA (no intentional reason.. just thought of it)...
Its about RM58,000...1.5L... auto...

my pitch to you is...

"this new sedan is super fuel efficient, and is the cheapest sedan in the market right now. You can't get this kind of car from any other manufacturer/brand. It is also the safest with two airbags infront, reinforced body kits, and brembo brake kits.

We offer you a 5 yr warrantee on parts, and so far, no one has any complaints on it yet. Some of my customers love it so much that they've recommended their friends to us. I've actually had 3 reference sales so far. It is also the hottest choice now among consumers, with sales of this model averaging about 20 per week in the whole of klang valley... "...

Now... of all that was said, do you believe any of it?

Yes.. there can be some truth to what he said... but, as an ex-salesperson, I know that we are trained & excel at twisting the truth, without lying too blatantly...

Is it really the safest car in the market? It's probably a really safe car, but is it the safest??
Is it really the MOST fuel efficient??? Again, its probably pretty good, but is it the MOST??
Is it really the Cheapest Sedan Huh: You get the drift...

How does it matter ?? because he is already influencing the customer, embedding that the car is the best, although its not really true (and its not like most customers would check, or know where to check for that matter)...

reference sales? For all you know, he could've just made that up all together, (as some sales people do...)

even if he did, hwo about the numbers? Maybe he had 1, but he said 3?

The hottest? Really? Based on what survey?? If its an in house survey, it doesn't bench mark against other car sales...

Which is why, if a sales man wants to sell me something (out of the blue), and makes such great comments, I always ask for proof.... no harm done to either of us... two possible outcomes, I call his bluff, or he shows me proof and gains my interest in his product & my trust in him as an honest salesperson...

So... where are the client testimonies??

And lastly,... there is a very very very very very small possibility that Ivan & John are the same person..hahaa... who knows... there could be.. until its proven.. after in cyber space, I could be Lily, Veronica, Muhammad, Kazeem, Michael, Spiderman... y'know...

and now I'm even wondering if John will stoop so low as to fake his testimonials (as some sales people do...)...

ok ok phenom both happy and confused. its nice to have the village folks backing you up albeit being too late, after being ganged up ~by possibly the same person~, cornered, threatened, wounded, licked injury, fight back by throwing insults (like a girl  Cry) while everyone in the village is happily sleeping.. hehehe..

confused.. how did all this turn religious  Huh Huh Huh and nasi tambah  Huh Huh Huh boy you guys are interesting bunch of people!

1. this is for ivan.. see after all this phenom still make you a hero.. now you have witnessed the true ability of a sales
person. observe and learn my friend, don't have to go running to your senior for help.

2. on being rebelious, phenom always agree. its a cool and fun thing to do. james dean is my role model for that!

3. on test driving P1, thanks for the invite cap11, do let me know the time. you know where to find me  Wink but bring
some weapons tho as maybe these P1 guys are waiting to ambush phenom.. time to dig out the dildos hahahaa

4. Cap, yes i guessed that you might not be a heavy user. so as i posted waaaay earlier P1 should work fine for
    users like you.

5. thank you sagat, but phenom no hero. still licking his wounds like a girl. but from sacrifice comes
glory (that line keeps ringing in my head, hmm did optimus prime said that in the movie??)

6. mr moderator, seriously.. how did the bible came up?

7. on cap11's take on religion, about how the great religion warriors are just smart people trying to instill a sense of
order to the chaotic situation in the past, probably by fear or respect. Oh dude, you are exactly on the same boat
as me on this one. in fact Dylan my best colleague-friend can be my testis-monies for this as i have shared this
view with him moons ago. haha guess both of us were 'enlightened' by 'the' greater power.. hahahaaa.... (ya and
Dylan is an actual person that you can meet). but i won't label myself as an atheist.. just believe phenom live his
own path, well, why would great people need to be guided to live life??  Grin

8. on ivan and john being the same person, ya i also came to that earlier on that's why on my ending argument on the
D-day I did refer to these as "Ivan character" and "John character"..

9. haha yes anyone can be everyone online. in fact phenom might turn out to be chilicandy's other persona.. the one
that is a male character living in chilicandy's head waiting to come out and offend everyone here hahahahahaha

10. Yes Sagat phenom hungry and want your nasi tambah too!!

*Out of topic* (we can setup another thread for this discussion)

captain11,
You are not atheist. Atheist is mean some one whom REJECT GOD.
You are more like Nontheism, you believe something there let's we call it as FORCE, Power or anything you like to call it but you don't buy the stories from where others input or trying to brainwashing you.
In the end you are close to Buddhist mindset but never practise like them.

HEhe... Uncle Dave, don't worry, if we still find interesting things to talk about relating to religion after this, then we start a new thread lah... else, I've just got one last comment to say, then I'm done for now..

hehe...

I know I'm not an atheist... as I mentioned earlier... I'm borderlining on Atheism...

Its just that I didnt'know the proper name for a person who is like an atheist, but acknowledges existence of a higher being. ..

Now I know, thanks to you... Nontheism... hehe...
And for the record, yes, If anything, I'm closest to Buddhism.. which is actually my original & my chosen religion when celebrating religious celebrations, as well as filling up forms which require you to state your religion although it has absolutely no bearing on your work potential or performance or your competencies or... or... or....

Ok guys.. coming back to the topic of this thread.. hehehe.. p1 W1max.. hehehe..

I decided last week to take up p1, and was trying desperately (Yes kinda desperately) to find our "Ivan"... phone always kinda off, left messages but no reply... I even went to hometown, but apparently, he's only there from 12-2 and 5-7pm..... i got there at 2.30... missed him by a bit... hai~~..

Oh well, i guess its his luck.. cause at night, i spotted another booth right opposite ABC, and I signed up on the spot...  That was saturday night...

They told me it would only be activated the next day after lunch, cause they needed to bring the form over to the HQ to be submitted... blah blah blah...  long story short, always call to followup, else you'll be waiting for nuts.... I finally only got online at night..

I'm staying in WIC, on 7th floor... and so far, I've only managed to get decent reception (yellow and green lights) at my third room, facing bandar tasik selatan... at my hall, so far not so good, red and the occasional yellow.. which takes damn long to connect and disconnects very easily... so i'm still trying to find a good spot for the hall, or else, its gonna be wifi router from the third room...

About the connection, I took up the RM49 package, which only allows bandwidth of 400+KB.. .. but I'll say the line was pretty stable, and also, speedwise, ok lah for the minimal user like me... no movie downloads or 20+ tabs open at the same time, but checking mail, a few youtube videos at the same time, can.. just need to give a minute or two to load all the videos and then we're good...

Skype-ing was also smooth.. tried skype with my brother last night.. ok lah... boleh lah...

And to me, the ultimate test... loading the www.louisvuitton.com website... elsewhere, takes minutes... last night, took about 7-9 seconds... not super fast, but thats also because LV has a big website....

Lastly, I was using my laptop which is famous for being slow... can't wait to try it out on my desktop which is still loaded with XP, which is definitely much much much faster than my vista laptop...hehehe...
